Basic question regarding setup

I have installed parse-server-example & parse-dashboard successfully, they are are reachable on the web.

My question is, how do I "enable" email verification? The sendgrid adapter is installed, and have set up an account. "sendUserEmails" is set to true. The sendgrid options have an "API key" and "from email" set. I do not see anything in the dashboard (like it was on the old parse dashboard), to enable email verification. Does it happen automatically when an email is entered, or am I missing something?

I looked closer at the verification email...

The link to be clicked exposes the App Id... is there a way to mask this? ("appID" is the actual id I used for testing purposes. Confirmed... I changed "appID" to new value, and updated email. the App Id does show in confirmation link. Is this something we should be concerned about?)

@lamarrg How did you get the verification emails to send? You said "it looks like it happens automatically when an email is entered, and verification is set to "yes" " What do you mean by this. I tried verifyUserEmails: true, but that did not work.

It's been a while since I typed this, but I believe "... verification is set to 'yes'" is equivalent to "verifyUserEmails: true". (I need to improve my question asking clarity and overall documentation)

Did you:

1. import the node.js module into the project for the SimpleSendGridAdapter?

2. include the "require" statement for the service at the top of index.js?
   var SimpleSendGridAdapter = require('parse-server-sendgrid-adapter');

As a side note as I do not know if this is directly relevant, I never used a local instance. I imported everything, and uploaded to AWS via the EB CLI, but it was never configured with localhost. Always with the active database and server in the cloud.

@lamarrg, @bcootner: I'd also like to turn on email verification. Were either of you able to get this working?

Theoretically setting verifyUserEmails: true should work.
