Have download from git.
./rebar get-deps <- seems to be fine

root@***:/tmp/ecoinpool# ./rebar compile
==> meck (compile)
==> protobuffs (compile)
==> mochiweb (compile)
==> proper (compile)

what to do?

Use a newer version of rebar.
https://github.com/basho/rebar
build in a seperate folder and copy the rebar file over the one in the ecoinpool directory.
