This Feature Request is partialy related to a problem and it mostly related to workflow.

Add the option to enable Karousel only on certain virtual desktops and to toggle it (on/off) dynamically, to allow coexistence with other tiling scripts like Krohnkite or Polonium.
This would be awesome in karousel because you scroll some windows in 1 virtual desktop and default tiling in 2 virtual desktop.

I mean like in krohnkite you toggle float and then then column layout without specifing in the settings.
For toggle you can use a bash script and then bind it into a shortcut, that's not that hard with vibe code or something like that which i made already.
But now it a complicated to replicate like in krohnkite like the first desktop is karousel layout and second is tiling script without using the desktop tab which was added in newest version.

Hold on, I know what can fix this — you could add a toggle that makes all windows on the current desktop float. For example, a hotkey that toggles floating mode for all windows. This would work better together with the other tiling script I mentioned.

As how I saw then a window is floating it only on the specified virtual desktop, Then you have the option where you drag the window, that window won't be touched so in that circumstance you can use other tiling script and the window which got floated wouldn't be influenced by karousel. In that case there could a option to toggle the floating mode for all windows so that you can alternate between this scrollable tiling script and default tiling script. So that's why would be good to have a toggeable floating mode.

I'm not able to do this, so I wanted to know the developers' opinion if it's implementable.
