Java openJDK installation

Hi,

We would like to understand how is Java openJDK installed in Ping Federate and Ping Directory. I couldn't find any binary in the source code.

If you reference to our https://github.com/pingidentity/pingidentity-docker-builds pipeline scripts, you can see we use a staged approach to building the images.

We have a base image definition, and from that we build a JVM image, and using that image as the foundation, we layer in the product bits. If you want to see it in action, you can refer to this page, where we use the scripts from our docker-builds pipeline to build a local image. If you examine the serial_build.sh script, you can see that staged build in use.

@PingDavidR Basically we would like to upgrade the jvm version to the latest to upgrade ping directory. We are using the base image from ping devops and performin build on top of it. How the jvm can be upgraded.

You can layer in a different JDK in the buildJVM script if you desire. It would require building the image locally, but the scripts in that repository are the same ones we use to build our images published to Docker hub

@PingDavidR We have a server profile repo which builds the image in the pipeline. The repo doesn't have the pingjvm/build-jvm.sh script in there. How this can be handled in the pipeline? Attached is the workflow files, helm chart and the docker file
