Planned Release Date for 3.0.0?

We run some quick tests with a local build of QuickFixJ 3.0.0. So far it looked fine. It's a little bit difficult to do any more testing however as we have several components working together which we can't simply update to use a local SNAPSHOT build for QuickFixJ.

When do you think will an initial release for QuickFixJ 3.0.0 be available?

Hi Christoph, is it only you working on this release ? My company are a bit nervous if you are the only person supporting QFJ !

I am not the only one working on this release since there are some people who are contributing to it. But releasing is my part.
Regarding support: I'd say this is depending on the problem you're actually having, but there are many other people than me who are submitting pull requests or features to QFJ.
If your company needs paid support to be less nervous then there probably is a solution to that, too. Just search the web for companies who are providing paid support for QFJ.

Can you merge this PR in now #631 ?
Also how likely is it 3.0.0 will be released in the next month ? we have a target to get off SOCKS by the end of March at the latest.

Hi @chrismmilburn , it is likely, but please understand that I cannot make any commitments. Might need your help again with that #631 PR, actually there is a new one #1136. Are you able to test that? If yes, I'll merge it in.
