Improving performance on RailsBridge.org

If anyone wants access to the New Relic account for RailsBridge.org, it exists!

Here's what we're looking at for this past week:

3.69 seconds average page load seems awfully slow?

For a site with some big hero images and web fonts, it's actually not too bad, but I'm sure we could speed it up some.

The first thing that I look at is CDN and caching. If we don’t have one, a CDN can really be a quick win to shave some of those milliseconds off.

Since we are running on Heroku the Fastly addon could be a really quick win. I've used them before.
