Consider PanDoc

Whitepapers should not just be great, they should be beautiful. For that you need LaTeX. [PanDoc](http://pandoc.org/installing.html) hides most of the complexity for you, so you can just write Markdown and it produces something like their [Example 14](http://pandoc.org/demos.html).
