[Bug]: When trying to "Shut Up" BHIM UPI (Indian payments) app, shizuku errors

Bug Description

Everytime I try to launch the app through the shortcut created by the Essentials app to "Shut up" BHIM, here is what happens (Shizuku seems to crash and sends a Invalid token notification) and BHIM still detects "root" (not really root) apps like Shizuku -

Is it possible to hide the app list from apps in the Shut Up feature?

Steps to Reproduce

Grant all necessary permissions and set up the shut up feature for BHIM and try to start the BHIM app from the created shortcut

Expected Behavior

BHIM should be blocked by the shut up feature and let me use the app

I can't use that app in my region but this is probably a Shizuku bug. Are you not using the recommended Shizuku fork? Try it and make sure the watchdog feature is off.

And about hiding app list, nah, that require root + lsposed as we can not modify anything but our own Essentials app and whatever we can modify in settings database tables.

Ohh that is the same one as me, Can you share a screenshot of the shizuku settings? I do not get this error message, but.. I am on Android 17 beta where Shizuku is borderline broken...

I too get the 'Invalid Auth token' error.

Perhaps, this is due to Essentials trying to restart Shizuku and the token is not valid? Should we set the auth token in the essentials app?

Try disabling the Auto-disable USB debugging toggle, And also try setting the port to default. That is what I got here.. if it still throws the error, that might mean some OS level differences.

The thing is that I do not get the same error on same Shizuku build. Only difference is the settings in Shizuku and I'm being on Android 17 so we need to narrow down first to see what causes it.
