Why there hasn't been many new updates lately?
Hi all!
Yes, it's been a while since the last update especially the last feature drop. Why?I have been pushing a couple of updates the last time in a week so I got a bit burned out and to take a little break and to get back, I switched the focus to one of my other apps which is AirSync which will be getting v4.0 which is the biggest update ever since the launch very soon!
A lot f effort being put there for new features, improvements, fixes and testing to perfect it this time.Along with my work and the start of the final year research project at the university, things do get a lil busy but I will be back, back very soon... There's some community made nice improvements in the work as well! In the mean time to stay in touch and check out what's been cooking, head over to the communities below!

Double tap to screen off and Android 17 beta fix in Essentials v15.1
What's New? Not much really
- Double tap to screen off with the widget
- Ability to use Shizuku instead of accessibility for screen off ***
Why this update? ***
This is a very minor release to address some changes (or rather bugs) with Android 17 QPR1 beta 3 build.
In this build, accessibility screen off can be broky. it might disable biometrics if you turn the screen off with that permission. This is not an issue with the app as I was able to confirm that it still happens with the screen off option in the accessibility menu.
But while I'm at it, might as well add double tap to sleep :D Enjoy!

** Why device specs were removed?
The feature was powered by the GSMArena website which does not offer an API. So we had to rely on a web scraper which did not provide accurate information for certain devices and especially for devices with similar specs and model numbers. Add to that, this component did not add any valuable user facing-features hence it was removed.
