Thank you for this app! I am wondering if you are aware of the reconciliation API, which is designed for the problem ba[sic?] tackles:

In short, this is a unified API to match a user-supplied dataset to an authority database. For instance, the two data sources you support so far (GND and Geonames) have reconciliation endpoints, and you can query them as follows:
If ba[sic?] was made to use this API, it would immediately support a lot more sources. Here is a list of publicly available endpoints:
https://reconciliation-api.github.io/testbench/
If there are any aspects of the API that prevent you from switching to it, I would be very interested to know what they are. The community is still actively improving the specifications:
