Does @exclude only work with @include?

I have had a problem with two different userscripts in which @exclude won't work if I am using @match. But if I change @match to @include, then the @exclude will work.

But maybe it is my imagination. So I thought that I would ask before creating an Issue.

Note: If the site is designed as an SPA, after you enter the first page, all subsequent navigation within the site (clicking links, buttons, etc.) will only change the URL shown in the address bar, without any actual page reload.

Yeah, let us shelf this for now. It probably has something to do with SPA. I had // @match *://*.twitch.tv/* and the I forgot what I had for exclude, but it was probably // @exclude *://*.twitch.tv/videos*. I was surprised when ScriptCat still showed my userscript active after I clicked on the Videos tab. But it is probably as you said. It showed a new URL in the address bar but maybe there was no actual page reload. This experiment was extremely low priority. I was just experimenting. It is not something that I am worried about right now.

As for the other website, I can't even remember what website it was. It was probably a NSFW website. I think that the problem I had back then was actually because of the URL I was using. I think that the website did not want just *://*.website.com/*. It also wanted *://website.com/*. I forgot. Anyway, the AI I was using kept screaming at me to use both, so I listened to it and then the userscript finally worked.

Anyway, if I run into any problem, I will let you know. But for now, I am okay. Thank you for your help.

PS - It was ScriptCat v1.2.1. But I have since updated to v1.2.2 around an hour ago.
