When connecting to SR6, there will be an extra command action after pause

As the title says, I think this might be a bug. What information can I provide to help identify the cause?

Steps to reproduce:

Open the player > connect to the SR6 > select a script, either multi-axis or single-axis > start playing the video > pause the video midway.

Expected behavior:
The device should stop moving immediately after pausing.

Actual behavior:
The device appears to stop immediately when the pause button is pressed, but after about 0.5 seconds, it briefly jitters a short distance at maximum speed.

This does look like a real bug, and I don’t think it is caused by the script itself.

My current guess is that after pausing, the app stops the playback stream first, but then sends one extra neutral / keep-alive command shortly after. On SR6, that can look like a short high-speed jitter about 0.5 seconds after pausing.

I’ll adjust the pause behavior so normal pause does not send a home/neutral movement command. It should only stop the active stream and avoid sending an extra movement frame after pause.

Could you also let me know how you are connecting the SR6?

• Direct FunOSR / serial COM

And if possible:

• selected compatibility preset
• whether it happens every time
• whether it happens more when the current position is far from center

Since this happens every time with Direct FunOSR / serial COM on Auto preset, this confirms it is most likely in the direct serial pause path, not the Intiface path.

I have adjusted the next build so normal pause no longer sends a home/neutral movement command, and it also suppresses the serial idle/keep-alive movement briefly after pausing. That should prevent the extra jitter frame about 0.5 seconds after pause.

I’ll include this fix in the next patch build. Once it is available, please try it again with the same Auto preset first. If it still happens, I may add a stricter SR6/SR1 serial pause mode.
