I think the biggest challenge will be hardware specs. What kind of hardware are you using?

python image_to_gcode.py -o input img/image.jpg
And you should get corresponding gcode? :-)

Anyway, I think the code is obsolete, many obsolete open-cv functions used.

I have not tested this in quite sometime. I remember there is also https://github.com/nick-parker/image_to_gcode which extends this project quite a bit.
