I've completed it, opened an MR. Limited testing though. OSX on c64 stuff only. So YMMV. |

Hi, thanks, I'll review the PR. I have Vice 3.10 also upgraded which I am testing recently and plan to release on 4th of June. I guess I'll do a review of your and my code to compare. I wonder what was the problem with 1541 emulation in older version? Thanks! |

Actually, its funny. I ran into a difference between the 3.1 and 3.10, so I just figured 3.10 would be 'better'. So I wanted my debugger to match VICE. Its a real subtle thing I'm running into, thats related to a GCR and/or timing issue. Anyways. I'm not gonna pressure you either way.. I wanted something, it scratched my itch, and claude made it very easy to jump in. Whatever folks feelings on AI, its open a whole new world of "scratch that itch" for me. |

Hi All.. I'm working on a rather indepth c64 based side project. I found retro debugger, but I need a newer VICE. So I'm undertaking some of the work (maybe all?) to bring retrobudegger up to date. So expect from MR's.. I'm first going to start by adding a bunch of unit tests. ANd yes, I'm using Claude heavily.
Mostly, I need accurate 1541 emulation, and also REU emulation. I wasnt able to figure out how to get the REU working in RetroDebugger (RD from now on), and the 1541 emulation was spotty for what I was trying to do, and noticed differences between the RD Vice and Vice 3.10.
