Do integrity check and recovery information only after x backups

Integrity check and recovery information take a long time. It might be a good idea to not do them at every backup, but only after a couple of backups?

Sorry for the very late response. I think you could have a good idea! I don't use these options myself so I'm not sure just how painful it is. When thinking about how this could be added the obvious solution is to add some setting for "do this every X backup", perhaps individual settings for integrity and recovery. But could it also be possible to something more intelligent? Like just some better default, every 3 backups? Or automatically detect when it is too painfully slow and then increase the interval:

• if saving backup takes < 15 minutes, do the checks every time.
• if saving takes <30 minutes do the checks every other time.
  and so on....
  But then people have different levels of paranoia... so a manual setting is probably best.
