v8.37.0 shows massively wrong Load

Describe the bug
When updating to v8.37.0 I get loads in my plan that are physically impossible for my link (20 kWh in 15 minutes). When Downgrading back to 8.36.3, loads are as expected again.

Expected behaviour
Loads should be calculated properly

Environment details

• Solar from 15 minute custom HA sensor, Inverter and battery setup
• Standard HAOS installer
• 15 minute energy slots

@metabubble - did you get any weird PV data?

@matttheotter Not that I can see, but my PV setup is not a standard setup. I use Openmeteo Home Assistant + template to sum them up and change them into what predbat expects.

Mine is odd.

Forecast is 10kWh tomorrow, Predbat is showing 35kWh....

Update: I fixed that, I added a utility meter for solar and it tripled the PV input...odd

I'll have a quick look at the logs, how are you weighting your forecast load?

You might need to have a re-read of the days_previous_weight.

1 = 100% weight
0.5= 50% weight

You've got 8....so 800% weight? Did you mean the following?

days_previous_weight:

• 0.8
• 0.4
• 0.2
• 0.4
• 0.2
• 0.1

That would weight by the following:

• 80%
• 40%
• 20%
• 40%
• 20%
• 10%

It should make no difference for weight, since you divide by the total number at the end. Works fine pre update

Just to rule out it not liking weights above 1, I changed it to

• 1
• 0.5
• 0.25
• 0.5
• 0.25
• 0.125

keeping the relations between the weights the same. The plan came out as expected:

Updating to 8.37.4 produces wrong load forecasts even with weights of 1 and fractions

One slot is showing 256 kWh within 15 minutes. That's a GIGAWATT of power :D
