Can't connect to network camera

Hello,
I have a severe knee injury and have setup an old Android phone as a network camera by installing "IP Webcam" from the Play Store. I use it to help me keep an eye out for the mailman. I've used several other webcam monitoring applications but they were too bloated and used a lot of my CPU.

While I was looking for a replacement application to use on my PC, I saw your software posted on many sites and it looks like just the thing I need. I installed it and when i went to connect to it via MJPEG Steam, it doesn't work. Once I've entered all the information, a mini window opens and says "connecting" but just stays like that non-stop.

I've tried multiple combinations to try and set it up. When it asks me to enter the URL of an updating JPEG from a web camera, I've entered the webcam's IP address as:
xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/
xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/video
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/video
xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/videofeed
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/videofeed
http://user:pass@xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/video
user:pass@xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080/videofeed
and a few other combinations.

Not sure what else I can do to get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm really looking forward to using your software :)
