Project Progress Summary

Recent Achievements: Global Standardization & Reviews Page

We have reached a significant milestone in unifying the Taling Dev website's design system and completing the high-fidelity Reviews page.

1. Global Spacing & Typography Standardization

To ensure visual consistency and a "16:9" visual fit, we have standardized the following across all pages (Home, Services, Contact, Reviews):

  • Unified Horizontal Padding: Applied px-6 md:px-12 lg:px-24 to all main sections, the Navbar, and the Footer.
  • Consistent Typography Hierarchy:
    • H1 (Hero): text-4xl lg:text-5xl font-extrabold
    • H2 (Section Header): text-3xl lg:text-4xl font-extrabold
    • H3 (Sub Header): text-xl lg:text-2xl font-extrabold
    • Body Text: text-base md:text-lg font-medium
  • Max-Width Container: Reinforced the 1728px max-width constraint for main content areas.
  • Vertical Spacing: Applied a refined "bottom-padding" model (pb-12 md:pb-16 lg:pb-20) to subsequent sections to eliminate excessive vertical gaps between stacked components while maintaining hero top padding.

2. Reviews Page Implementation (/reviews)

Built a high-fidelity testimonial section that highlights client success stories.

  • Modular Components:

    • ReviewsHero.astro: Pill-badge branding and centered messaging (Scaled for 16:9).
    • ReviewCard.astro: Multi-variant card system with "fade-up" scroll animations and optimized sizing.
    • ReviewGrid.astro: Bento-style grid with staggered animation logic and vanilla IntersectionObserver.
    • ModernizeCTA.astro: Brand-consistent bottom banner (Scaled for 16:9).

  • Animations & Interactivity:

    • Scroll Reveal: Implemented a lightweight vanilla JS IntersectionObserver to trigger fade-up effects as users scroll.
    • Staggered Entry: Integrated delay props to stagger the appearance of grid items for a premium feel.
    • Client Marquee: Added a seamless, looping CSS-based logo marquee with edge-to-edge support for ultra-wide screens.
    • Layout Spacing: Refined vertical gaps between marquee and CTA sections.

3. Navigation & Routing Refinement

  • Route Sync: Updated Navbar.astro to use concrete paths (/services, /contact, /reviews).
  • Active State Logic: Implemented dynamic link highlighting based on the current URL.
  • Footer Alignment: Updated footer links and spacing to match the new global standards.

Project Status Overview

  • Build Stability: npm run build verified stable.
  • Responsiveness: All pages verified for mobile/desktop breakpoints.
  • Next Steps:
    • About Page: Implement the layout and content for the "About Us" section.
    • Content Injection: Replace placeholder text in the Reviews grid with real client testimonials.
    • Mobile UX: Refine navigation menu transitions and interactive feedback.
