Editing notes in Terminal UI

Is the CLI a "view-only"?
I love the idea of being able of surfing and editing from the terminal.

The Terminal UI (TUI) version was mostly to prove I could put multiple frontends on the core logic, it's view only at the moment but it would definitely be cool to have a full on editor in the terminal. They are so speedy for us keyboard/vim types.

Thinking about this, I'm wondering if opening $EDITOR like git does for rebases might be a good start, then it'll just open whatever editor you normally use on your system
