Hello! Thank you for writing this library -- it has been exceedingly useful.
I am currently using this library in a pipeline for downstream machine learning on confocal microscopy data. I would love to be able to distribute (to collaborators) a modified version which allows writing to .h5 files and can batch-process directories, but did not see any licensing or distribution terms listed. Is this repository actively maintained, and if so would it be possible to add an open-source license (or distribution agreement)?
Alternatively, if the maintainers permit, I would be willing to take over maintenance in an open-source fork, retaining full attribution to the original authors.
