we are currently evaluating Traceway and noticed some things that other tools do better UX wise.
1. Inline Log Values
The log view currently does not inline values - so if there are a lot of log entries that only make sense to look at with the values you have to click open them one by one. That's unpractical, especially when you are looking for a specific value.
2. Simple Filter Creation
Currently there seems to be no way to quickly create a filter from an opened log entry. To create a filter the "add filter" modal needs to be used - but it requires users to enter two values (key + value) which is quite cumbersome without a clipboard manager that can hold multiple values. It also is a modal dialog so you can't simply copy values when in the dialog.
A simple solution would be a way to create filters from values that are already displayed. A simple "filter by this" button or something.
