Lnav can't read the messages.log

Hello!
I'm on Debian 12 and suddenly Lnav doesn't want to read /var/log/messages.log. I see the black field on the screen instead of messages. After the CTRL-R command I get that attention:

Reinstalling the Lnav package doesn't solve the problem.
Should I change the messages.log permissions?
