Version 1.0.0?

Hello, so far as I can see, this crate has been around for a few years now. When will version 1.0.0 be released? So far as I understand it, 1.0.0 just means "the consumer-facing API is not changing rapidly anymore." And considering that the last commit was nine months ago, it sounds like this is the case.

I'm reluctant: For a 1.0 I'd like to ensure we've done a holistic look at the API and figured out if we want to change anything (which I don't have the time to do right now), and also frankly I don't want to release a semver-incompatible version without a stronger reason. 0.1.x is fine, mostly; I haven't really seen people judge crates that harshly for being pre-1.0.
