There should be tests for jQuery, ideally both for desktop and mobile devices. We would need some sort of testing framework like Mocha or Jasmine and a front end automation tool (PhantomJS, CasperJS, or Selenium).
It would be ideal to stay away from adding more huge dependencies, but if we need to, Node.js might have to be a part of our project.
