When you click the shortcut or right-click the menu and select the extension, a sidebar opens.
Inside the sidebar, you should see a selection option.
- Select the area you want.
- After selection, you’ll get:
- A text box to type your prompt, or
- A button to open the selection in Google Search.
If you enter a prompt, the response will appear directly in the same screen.
Pressing Esc or the Cancel button will close it, just like the Windows screenshot interaction.
