PHP 8.2 Support??? #28

Hi, was wondering if you could help me out. Not sure this is the correct forum for this. But in the README file it states...
Requires PHP 7.2.5+ (including PHP 8.0)
Is this repo actively updated? According to the PHP Supported Versions page PHP 7.2 to 8.0 are no longer actively supported and subsequently critical security issues are not updated.
Will the repo be updated to php 8.2 for example?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
