Tritone is a music player designed to give you a clean and smooth listening experience. It works on Windows and plays music from Subsonic servers. To run Tritone smoothly, your Windows PC should meet these basic requirements:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB free disk space
- Internet connection for streaming and sync features
- A Subsonic or compatible media server account (for streaming music)

This link will take you to the Tritone GitHub repository. From there, you can find the latest release or installer file for Windows.
Once on the GitHub page, look for the Releases section. It usually appears on the right side or under a tab labeled "Releases."
Inside the latest release, locate the Windows setup file. This file will end with .exe or .msi. The file size is typically between 30 to 100 MB.
- Click the
.exeor.msifile to start the installation. - Follow the setup instructions on the screen.
- Accept the license agreement.
- Choose the installation folder or keep the default option.
- Wait for the installation to complete.
- Click Finish when the installer is done.
- You can now open Tritone from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.
- The first time you open the app, it may ask you to enter your Subsonic server details:
- Server URL or IP address
- Username and password for your Subsonic account
If you do not have a Subsonic server account, you can still check the app and use local file playback if supported.
- Open the app and select Settings from the menu.
- Find the Server Setup section.
- Enter your Subsonic server URL, username, and password.
- Click Connect.
- The app will sync your music library and playlists.
- Use the search bar to find tracks or artists.
- Click on songs or playlists to start playing.
- Use the play, pause, forward, and rewind buttons at the bottom of the window.
- Use the queue feature to line up songs you want to play next.
- The app shows lyrics in sync with the music when available.
- Go to Settings > Theme.
- Choose between light, dark, or automatic themes.
- The interface changes smoothly when switching themes.
- Playlist art updates automatically based on your music selection.
- If you use Discord, Tritone can show your current song on your profile.
- Turn this on in Settings > Discord Integration.
- Your friends can see what you are listening to in real time.
- If you cannot connect to your Subsonic server, check your login details and network connection.
- Restart the app if it does not display music or lyrics correctly.
- Update Tritone regularly from the GitHub releases page to get bug fixes and improvements.
- If the lyrics do not sync, make sure the song file has matching LRCLIB format lyrics.
- For slow playback or buffering, check your internet speed and server performance.
