Drift will be a Toronto-focused geospatial analytics platform for exploring neighbourhood change through interactive maps.
- An interactive React/MapLibre GL dashboard showcasing different modules and their corresponding methodologies
- Core modules: Neighbourhood Profile, Development Pressure, 15-Minute Access, Environment (Tree Canopy, Heat Exposure)
- Data Pipeline and Infrastructure built with Python, DuckDB/PostGIS, dbt, Prefect, GCP, and Terraform
Drift is currently in early development. Note that this is currently a solo project, but I hope that eventually this platform reaches a point in which users can contribute and even fork it to utilize their own community's data.
