📊 Coverage: Tests verify the correct return of getsockname()[0] on a successful connection and the exact fallback to '127.0.0.1' when an exception occurs during connect().
✨ Result: Improved test reliability and ensured that network fallback behavior is properly safeguarded against regressions. Also updated .gitignore to prevent tracking of __pycache__ and compiled Python files.
