For what it's worth, it would be nice to see this merged. I require HTTP auth specifically because I'm unable to whitelist an IP address, which means I'll have to make a custom build or use another plugin :( Another option would be to disable IP whitelisting entirely (E.G. for people who already have a firewall in place). Happy to submit a PR for this if there's interest in it being implemented. |
