Persist a diff whitespace preference and expose it from settings, the diff action menu, and focused diff windows. Apply the mode across patch, file, and conflict diffs so whitespace-only changes render as neutral, drop out of change navigation and scrollbar markers, and skip word highlighting. Improve diff focus behavior around toolbar/popover actions and text selections, add coverage for the new paths, and refresh Rust/dependency metadata.
