Description

In a YouTube video the young Australian presenter used the phrase "neither fish nor bird", which I'd never heard before. It seems to be on the rise according to Google Ngrams, presumably tracking shrinking vocabulary?

I realized that there would probably be another common mistake with "foul" instead of "fowl", which has come up before in OneFellSwoop.

I classified the first as Nonstandard and the second as Spelling and gave each a tailored message.
