Installation

  1. Download the HUD.
    • On GitHub, this is done by selecting CodeDownload ZIP.
    • Alternatively, here's a link: Download.
  2. Open the downloaded ZIP and copy the WoolHUD folder.
  3. Find your TF2 install location.
    • The fastest way is to open Steam → Select GamesView Games Library → right click Team Fortress 2 → Under Manage → Click Browse Local Files.
  4. Navigate to ../tf/custom.
    • If you don't have a custom folder, then create one.
  5. Paste the folder.
    • Ensure your folder structure looks like the following:
tf
└── custom
    └── woolhud
        ├── _basetf2hud
        ├── _customizations
        ├── _stream_
        ├── materials
        ├── resource
        ├── scripts
        ├── sound
        └── info.vdf

Note

For the HUD to work on Linux, you need to make the folder name lowercase woolhud.
