I think this is good - much better than the hacky way I was putting things together. Do you know of a method to enforce width in the front readme? Not really a problem, but looks a bit small for the page.

Sorry - I don't - but seeing as the tidyverse folk don't seem to worry about this, then I tend not to worry either.

This just copies the tidyverse way of inserting the logo, e.g., like dplyr do it
# dplyr <a href="https://dplyr.tidyverse.org"><img src="man/figures/logo.png" align="right" height="138" /></a>which means can remove the SEQ.png (which is a duplicate of SEQTaRget/man/figures/logo.png).
So the header now looks like
Also added alt text to the figures which are plotted in the vignettes.
