Our vision is to develop software to create anatomically realistic models of the organelles and ion channels in cardiac cells that are important for cardiac cell excitation-contraction coupling. Our aim is to use these models to understand the importance of spatial organization and relationship of the subcellular organelles in optimal cellular contraction.
