Open Energy

With the Libre Solar Box we want to provide a open hardware energy system for everyone. The electric parts namley the solarcharger and the battery management system are based on the Open Hardware project Libre Solar by Martin Jäger. The box is just one showcase how to connect the different subsystems of energy source, energy storage and energy load together.

Open Hardware

With a step-by-step guide we want to give the opportunity that everyone can rebuild the box. Which material do I need, which tools, which safety rules I have to follow.

Open Production

Not everyone has the needed tools like 3D printer, lasercutter or reflow oven at home. For this we are glad to have the FabLab (fabrication laboratory) community. How can we use the existing means of production in a efficient and community based direction.
