Rationale

Having regions gives teams something to do and can trend the game towards a major winner. It also makes this more in spirit of the game.

I think presence, control, and domination of an fbs conference should grant star bonuses to the school that achieves them. Conference affiliation has had a drastic impact on college football, and it would be nice to see that reflected in the game.

Presence would be a school owning the territory of a school in a conference.

Control would be a school owning the majority of conference schools territory.

Domination would be owning the entire conference territory.

Independents could be thier own conference.

The addition of power multipliers for controlling conferences could lead to school pursuing strategies that are more complex and interesting in the mid to late game. Just a thought that i think should be discussed, much in the line of continent control in risk or twilight struggle.
