Summary

Adds PROJECT JAMES to the 💻 Open-source Project section.

PROJECT JAMES (https://github.com/Hashevolution/James-RAG-Evol) is a security-focused, locally-runnable Graph-RAG knowledge engine in Python.

What makes it relevant to this list

  • Graph-RAG with 12-type ontology — relations carry semantic meaning beyond vector similarity
  • Explicit reasoning paths — every response surfaces the traversed graph paths
  • 3-stage access control — RBAC + ABAC + instruction isolation (vector → graph → output)
  • Self-evolution scaffold — feedback signals → patch proposals → 4-Gate validation → auto-rollback on bench regression, all with audit log
  • 100% local — Ollama-based, runs on a laptop, no cloud LLM dependency
  • MIT-licensed, alpha v0.2.0 with 7 published GitHub Releases

External validation

OpenSSF Best Practices passing badge (Tiered 111%, 2026-05-11).

Entry format

Matches the existing convention in 💻 Open-source Project (badge + project name + short description + key attributes).

Happy to revise placement, wording, or badge style per reviewer preference.

Updated project descriptions and added a new project entry for Local-first Graph-RAG.
