Apprentice DevOps & Systems Engineer passionate about automation, bare-metal infrastructure, and low-level development.
I am currently an Apprentice DevOps & Systems Engineer studying at Polytech Montpellier and working at Geomatys.
At Geomatys, I am responsible for managing, maintaining, and automating our hybrid infrastructure (comprising on-premise hardware and sovereign cloud deployments):
- Orchestration & Hybrid Cloud: Managing and maintaining our Kubernetes clusters across physical environments and secure sovereign cloud platforms to ensure scalable, compliant, and reliable deployments.
- Bare-Metal Infrastructure: Handling physical infrastructure on-premise, from provisioning and maintaining servers to configuring routers, switches, and managing full network topologies.
Deeply interested in low-level systems and networking, I love building things from scratch and contributing to open-source software. I am currently co-developing Barenetes, a custom container orchestrator written in Rust to better understand the core mechanics of containerization and Linux internals.
