I have been looking for this feature! Any updates on getting this merged? |

Any signs of this getting merged? This a big quality of life upgrade for people working with groovy in maven projects. |

Until this gets attention from maintainers, I've been building from my own fork here: https://github.com/RyanHecht/groovy-language-server/tree/master |

Closes #100
This pull request enhances the
groovy.classpathconfiguration to allow for recursive directory traversal when specifying classpath entries. For example, if a user specifies
/home/user/.m2/repository/**, the local Maven repository will be recursively searched, and all.jarfiles will be added to the classpath. This is accomplished by modifying the
getClasspathListmethod inCompilationUnitFactory.java. I added a helper function for recursive directory search as well.
