The Cisco SNMP Object Navigator (http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en) is handy.

OID Object Name Notes
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1 ifEntry Child objects have useful info for interfaces
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.3 hostName Device hostname (Cisco proprietary?)
