Colony Commute Optimizer (CCO) analyzes where every citizen lives and works, then proposes better housing assignments that reduce the colony's total walking distance.

Instead of manually moving citizens between houses, CCO automatically calculates optimized move chains while respecting residence capacity and keeping the entire process safe and reversible.

Town Hall Integration

CCO integrates directly into the MineColonies Town Hall interface.

Simply open your Town Hall and click the Colony Commute Optimizer button.

Main Interface

The main screen gives quick access to the optimizer while also displaying the latest optimization summary.

Optimization Preview

Before any citizens are moved you can review every proposed move.

The preview clearly shows:

• move groups
• affected citizens
• commute improvements
• total blocks saved

Nothing is changed until you press Apply.

Latest Optimization

After applying an optimization, the latest result is stored during the game session.

You can instantly see:

• Citizens moved
• Groups created
• Total blocks saved
• Completion time

Installation

1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Install MineColonies.
3. Place the Colony Commute Optimizer JAR inside your mods folder.
4. Launch Minecraft.
