LocalM is a Fabric mod that completely eliminates the headache of port forwarding when playing Minecraft with friends. By leveraging the power of Quick Tunnels, LocalM provides a seamless, secure, and instant way to host and join local multiplayer sessions.
No Port Forwarding Required: Forget about logging into your router and messing with NAT settings or firewall rules. LocalM securely tunnels your game traffic directly to your friends. Easy Share Codes: When you host a world, LocalM generates a simple, unique Share Code. One-Click Joining: Friends with the mod installed simply click "Join via LocalM", paste the Share Code, and connect instantly.
For the Host:
Open your singleplayer world and open it to LAN (or start a dedicated server with the mod installed). LocalM will automatically initialize a secure tunnel in the background. A Share Code will be generated and provided to you. Send this code to anyone you want to play with!
For Players:
Go to the Minecraft Multiplayer menu. Click the new Join via LocalM button. Paste the Share Code provided by the host. Click Connect! You will be seamlessly routed to the host's local server.
Requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Both the host and joining players must have the mod installed.
