ToolAreaSelect is a Stardew Valley mod that changes the way watering can and hoe works. This mod is a proof of concept of how I imagined the tools could work when using a mouse.
- Equip a hoe or watering can.
- Hold ctrl and use the mouse wheel to adjust the power.
- Left-click on the ground to walk to the clicked tile and use tool on selected area automatically once you arrive.
- Click on a water tile to instantly refill the can.
- SMAPI 4.3.2+
- Stardew Valley 1.6+
- Download the mod release .zip
- Extract it into your Stardew Valley /Mods folder
- Launch the game using SMAPI
- Missing walking animation
- Multiplayer was not tested
There is a lot of bugs currently, but if you encounter bugs that are not mentioned above or have suggestions, feel free to open an issue or contribute. I will gladly accept any pull requests.
