I don't like that we are introducing a breaking change. I think we should probably bump the version for this or set this up so its not the default. |

About braking change... It's the right way I this to do not break anything within the major version. So we can merge it into new branch called 3.x. And in 2-3 months merge it into master with bumped version to 3.0. |

we should follow Openstack branching methods. we should create a 2.0 OR stable branch and retain changes like this on master |
