🚧 First Alpha Release

This is the first development release of CommDesk.

CommDesk is a desktop platform designed to help developer communities, student clubs, and tech organizations manage events, hackathons, teams, and daily operations in one place.

This release introduces the initial architecture and foundation of the platform.

Development Stage

Current Stage: Alpha

This means:

  • The project is still under active development

  • Some features are incomplete

  • Bugs may exist

  • Internal structure and APIs may change in future versions

Alpha releases are mainly for:

  • Developers

  • Early testers

  • Contributors

  • Community organizers interested in testing the platform

⚠️ Production use is not recommended yet.

Installation

Download the build for your operating system from the Release Assets section.

Supported platforms:

After downloading:

  1. Install the application

  2. Launch CommDesk

  3. Explore the current development version

Known Limitations

Since this is an early development build:

  • Some features are not yet implemented

  • Certain UI components may change

  • Performance optimizations are still in progress

  • Breaking changes may happen in future versions

These limitations are expected during the alpha development stage.
