Update Android project to use AndroidX, modern Gradle/AGP, and current dependencies.
The project was created with an outdated configuration, mixing old Android Support libraries and Firebase SDKs with an incompatible Gradle/AGP version, preventing it from running. This PR resolves these inconsistencies by aligning the build system and migrating to AndroidX.
