Summary
Gini supports remote MCP servers, but the README did not show a no-key search setup. This documents how to add the optional Parallel Search MCP server for live web search and URL fetching using Gini's existing Streamable HTTP support.
Test plan
bun run typecheck— N/A (docs only)bun test— N/A (docs only)bun run gini smoke— N/A (docs only)git diff --checkNotes for reviewers
This is documentation-only and leaves Gini's built-in search providers and defaults unchanged.
Disclosure: I work at Parallel.ai, which operates this MCP endpoint.
