- Open your JetBrains IDE.
- Go to Settings/Preferences -> Plugins.
- Open the Marketplace tab.
- Search for "Perplexity AI".
- Install the plugin and restart the IDE.
- Download the latest release from GitHub Releases.
- Open Settings/Preferences -> Plugins.
- Click the gear icon and choose Install Plugin from Disk.
- Select the downloaded
.zipfile. - Restart the IDE.
- Open View -> Tool Windows -> Perplexity.
- Sign in with Perplexity's email login flow, or configure a session token in Tools -> Perplexity AI.
- Select code in the editor.
- Right-click and open the Perplexity submenu.
- Choose Send Selection or one of the prepared prompt actions.

When reporting an embedded browser issue, include the IDE name and version, plugin version, operating system, runtime information, steps to reproduce, and idea.log.
