| short_description | Multimodal AI for Quechua/Aymara bilingual education + Andean bioindicators |
"When a language dies, a climate system dies with it."
Multimodal AI for Quechua and Aymara bilingual education and Andean ecological knowledge preservation, powered by Gemma 4.
A teacher in a rural Andean school photographs a toad. Kawsay recognizes it, generates a bilingual lesson in Spanish and Quechua, and explains that this toad (jamp'atu) is a documented climate bioindicator — a dark back predicts a rainy year. The lesson includes audio pronunciation in the indigenous language, vocabulary with cultural context, and citations from peer-reviewed research.
This is not a translator. It is a knowledge bridge.
